Eco Child Terms and Conditions of Purchase

 

At Eco Child customer satisfaction is most important to us. When you're happy, we're happy!

 

We realise it may be difficult to purchase online and we respect that you may change your mind. Therefore we accept a 30 day return policy.

 

Please read on for the Terms & Conditions for Returns/Exchanges/Refunds:

 

Returns: You can return items to us within 30 days of receipt of purchase for a store credit. The items must be unworn and unused with the original tags in tact. The items must be in the original packaging and the packaging must be in the original condition.

 

You will need to complete the Customer Returns/Exchanges/Refunds Form which can be found here. You will also need to provide the receipt as proof of purchase.

 

Exchanges: You are welcome to exchange items within 30 days of receipt of purchase, subject to stock availability.

When exchanging an item, you will need to cover any difference in between the products and you are also responsible for the postage charge back to you. We will call you for your payment details and tell you the total amount to be charged before we send it.

 

Please note that the items we will not accept for return or exchange are:

 

                - Bedding accessories e.g. quilts, underlays and pillows

                - Custom made items

                - Furniture including mattresses

                - Gift Cards

                - Personal care i.e. toothbrushes

                - Swimwear

                - Underwear

                - Dummies


Returns and Exchanges do not apply to sale stock; although if the product on sale is faulty then you are entitled to a refund/exchange.

 

To post returns/exchanges to us you need to include the completed Customer Returns/Exchanges/Refunds Form and the receipt as proof of purchase. Post items to Eco Child, 7 Virgin Road, Hindmarsh Valley SA 5211.

 

When we receive the item, we will inspect them and if they meet the above terms and conditions we will happily process the request.

 

For returns, we will contact you to provide a code which entitles you to a store credit for your next online purchase. Store credits are valid for 12 months and will be deducted from the total of your purchase.

 

Faulty Items:  Please contact us to discuss faulty items as we may be able to avoid the hassle of posting the item back to us. Call us on 1300 30 28 30 or you may email us at info@ecochild.com.au. We will direct you to fill out a Customer Returns/Exchanges/Refunds Form. You may need to take photos of the faulty item for the supplier. We will work directly with the supplier to arrange a replacement or repair or we will refund you.

 

We will not be able to refund/replace a faulty item if the product was used incorrectly or the instructions for use were not followed. Please also note that return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

 

Special Orders


Special orders and/or items that are specifically made to fit will require payment up front before goods are processed. If you cancel your order during the time of processing - and the supplier allows returns - a 15% purchase fee will be charged to you for cancellation, administration/postage fees. If the supplier does not allow returns and the item can be re-sold - you will be issued with a credit note to the full amount to spend in store with Eco Child. If the supplier does not allow returns and Eco Child do not stock as a usual product line, the product purchase is final and considered your responsibility.

 

Sale Conditions

 

If during sale periods stock is sold, there is no guarantee that orders can be processed and no rainchecks will be offered. All sale conditions will be noted on marketing materials and front of website. Please note exclusions. Please note the product term 'furniture' includes mattresses.  

The current Shop Closed discount code applies to all stock excluding furniture, bulk nappies, sale items and does not apply to gift certificates. This promotion ends midnight December 31st 2014.

Shipping information & Terms and Conditions


For retail orders to be posted within Australia over the value of $150 we would love to freight this to you with FREE shipping! Our FREE Shipping deal will be able to be selected at checkout with a discount code 'FREE150' when you are shopping online. Please note this offer is not run in conjunction with other discount codes, and will not appear as a shipping option during promotion periods; only one discount code can be used at a time. FREE freight promotions will be sent via 'standard' postal services unless otherwise advised. If you require express delivery for your purchase, a fee may apply. Please contact us at Eco Child on 1300 30 28 30 if this is required.

Orders that contain laundry, disposable nappies, baby wipes, nursery furniture (which includes mattresses) and/or oversized items over 5kg weight (i.e. mattresses, toys) are ineligible for the FREE freight deal and we will contact you with a freight quote once your order is placed, if you do not select the correct freight option at check-out. We will await your approval of the freight cost before completing your order.

If you would like a freight quote on an oversized item please contact us.

 

If your order is going to ship to someone other than yourself, please put the receiver's name in the comments field at check-out.

 

If your order is a gift and you would like to take advantage of our beautiful free gift wrapping service please simply add the comment 'please gift wrap'.
