We're proud to say that Eco Child has supported Bambusa since its beginning. A local Brisbane company striving to make the most sustainable, pure bamboo products readily available and we love them!

Bambusa production & packaging All Bambusa bamboo products are made of cellulose from organically grown bamboo.

Bamboo yarn is produced by pulverizing the bamboo stalks and then regenerating the fibre. This process does not use harmful chemicals. Bambusa fabric is dyed using azo-free dyestuffs. The Bambusa factory operates in conformity with ISO9001:2000 quality standard and is committed to the environment by reducing emissions and recycling waste. Also the Bambusa factory pays all workers appropriately and does not employ staff under the age of 18.

Bambusa packaging is 100% recycled.

Bambusa certifications

All Bambusa products are made of cellulose from organically grown bamboo.

Both the bamboo forest and the bamboo crops used are certified organic. The bamboo forest is certified by the Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA) www.ocia.org and the bamboo crops are certified organic by the USDA seal

The bamboo fibres used by Bambusa to manufacture and weave its products have obtained the FSC Chain of Custody Certification and finally, all the bamboo fibres used by Bambusa have received the Oeko-tex 100 class 1 certification for baby articles www.oeko-tex.com which means that the products are ecologically harmless for human health.
